A VSI vehicle conversion is one that uses the new technology systems (e.g. Lovato Easy Fast ) - generally suitable for vehicles built 2003+ (refer our VSI Vehicle List ) - which provides increased savings - as they are designed to achieve the same fuel efficiency as petrol.
However for calculations with the  'VSI Vehicle conversion' checkbox selected - we have allowed for a reduced (10%) LPG fuel efficiency compared to petrol.

Deselecting the 'VSI Vehicle conversion' checkbox - shows savings applicable to using the Venturi style systems - generally suitable to vehicles built prior to 2003. The calculator allows for these LPG conversion systems operating at a reduced (20%)  fuel efficiency to petrol. (Yet still giving you substantial savings of 40-50% cheaper than petrol !)

* Vehicle Type - Fuel consumption (litres per 100km) varies even for the same make and model of vehicle - e.g 2003 VY Commodore 12L/100km (City driving) , 2006 VE Commodore 10L/100km (City driving) .
Check your vehicle's owners manual for the fuel consumption figures applicable - or check the Green Vehicle Guide (for vehicles 1986-2003).

This savings calculator does not take into account the increase in the vehicle's value - as a result of the conversion. (Often equivalent to 50% of the cost of the conversion).
