Engine Performance
LPG (Autogas) has an octane rating above 100, while standard unleaded petrol has an octane level of 91, so LPG is well suited to maintaining or improving performance.

Performance With Venturi systems - generally for vehicles 1990-2003 - there may be a very slight drop in power, although this is not noticeable under normal driving conditions....But you will notice the fuel cost savings !!!

The latest LPG Autogas engine technology - vapour sequential injection (VSI) (generally suited to late model vehicles 2003+) provides performance and fuel economy comparable with petrol-powered engines.....So you get fuel cost savings, and excellent engine performance!

And with LPG, torque is available at lower engine revs, which aids drive-ability – particularly in stop/start city driving. In some cases total torque is actually increased.
